After the permission of distinguished colleagues. Which is better to transfer samples in the form of RNA from one country to another or transfer them in the form of tissues and method of preservation?
We usually transport RNA materials in both ways (either tissue or extracted RNA). But, I suggest here tissue in RNA later is best for country to country transport. Before store in RNA later, chop/mince the tissue with a sterile scalpel blade into thin part which allows RNA later to penetrate easily everywhere and stop RNase activity.
I prefer RNA later, in cost-wise 95% alcohol enough for the basic PCR study such as for diagnosis purposes. It all depends on the downstream application and kind of tissue being fixed.
