Its good to make your findings known to experts in your field at a particular conference and its better to publish the study in a high impact journal to make the excellent findings of the study known to global experts in your field.

Dear both of them are good but publishing in good journal is the best because not every body will have opportunity of the conference but everyone can access journal work from any where.
Which is a better way of disseminating a research project by publishing in a journal or by presenting it in a research conference?
Both can do the job to disseminate your research work to the outside world. Other considerations include e.g.
how fast you want to disseminate - generally presenting in research conference or formatting your research work in conference proceeding can be faster vs publishing as journal article.
getting traction from other researchers to cite your works - merely presenting in conference is hard to get others to cite your works (unless beside presenting, you are also formatting your work in conference proceeding that others can cite) vs journal articles which can attract more researchers to cite.
cost of publishing - generally lower cost for journal article vs presenting in conference that might include conference fees, traveling, hotel accommodation etc.
personal networking with research community - if this is the consideration, then presenting in conference / publish as conference proceeding can meet this requirement as you can brainstorm / networking / face to face interactions with similar researchers on similar research topics vs journal article which is a more isolated approach i.e. you are only dealing with reviewers / editor.
Both are ok, especially thanks to RG, Google Scholar and similar platforms where it become visible to all those intetested in a topic. I like coferences because the discissions there enable the paper improvement.
I prefer to present the research at a conference first (usually as as an abstract and not full publication in proceedings) and publish in a journal thereafter.
At conferences, I usually get feedback on how to improve the paper, further considerations for the current research/future studies, potential reviewers and collaborators.
Further, with a conference paper presentation, you could create opportunities for interest in your research which could increase its impact after journal publication.
Both ways are equally important. You can do one thing. First publish your work in a reputed journal. Following this publish your major findings at a conference.
Both modalitties re good! At conferences you can connect directly with others who are interested in your work and follow-up with them for future use, which is really the impact you want - to see your work used or implemented to improve practice or scholarship in your field of study. The latter is also achieved when others cite your published works.
Both ways are okay, but dissemination of your findings through journal publication will have wider audience of experts in the field of study, especially when it is published in good open access journals.
In addition, the shared information might be of benefits to lay persons for different purposes depending on the areas of specialty of study.
For dissemination of your research work to a wider population, I would suggest to go for the publication. However, it would be a good idea to first present your work in a conference so that you get feedback from other researchers, and submit your improved work for the publication.
I think both are excellent platforms if your written journal incites and excites other learned people to invite you to speak at a research conference go and present. obviously your work has appealed to their entellect and they wish to know more it also means that you will get offered opportunities that may not have come your way as others see the value of your rich research and want to increase their knowledge. Grab opportunities when they present themselves.

It depends on many factors: the place to submit your paper, the right publishing platform (Journal, online Journals, Publisher), on your language, on the type of article (or book) you’d like to publish.
