I need to modify the blood pressure in a monkey while is awake in the recording chamber, and I am planing on provide a drug for that in the food or water used for reward... any advise?

This cannot be answered as phrased. Please provide more clear description of your intent. Are creating hypotension or hypertension? Are you treating hypotension or hypertension? Do you want a broad acting cardiac and vascular drug or one that is more specific to cardiac effects or vascular effects? What species of monkey? I have done many studies with long term (4-6 hr restraint) of cynomolgus and if you want clean CV responses you need to acclimate them for several weeks and you need to have them visually and audibly isolated as any human presence will stimulate. Providing food or water treats in this case may cause disturbance although it can be minimized. Remote IV delivery is also viable so you don't have any disturbance.
