I want to extract DNA from buffy coat (human whole blood). I would like to know that which DNA extraction kit gives the best purity and concentration for NGS analysis?
Thank you in advance.
Qiagen DNeasy Blood & Tissue Kit is pretty good!
I would say - any....
It greatly depend on the amount of your sample. Generally, DNeasy Blood & Tissue Kit from QIAGEN gives you very good quality DNA for NGS.
depends what is your ngs technology
long reads single molecule pacbio or short reads illumina or other...
I agree with Jaroslaw Krol, it would depend whether you are using long- or short-read sequencing technologies.
Very interesting interesting question and answers.
So I solved it!
I use the Qiagen mini kit (precipitation will not work on FFPE).
It worked.
I use short reads (TCR repertoire. 400Kb).
Instead of checking only the mRNA level, I want to check the active protein level of MMP-1 in Liver tissue from mice. How can I do that?
