I'm culturing THP-1 cells in a medium composed of 90% RPMI, 10% FBS, and 1% antibiotics (penicillin and streptomycin). When I checked my cells, I noticed some contamination (see picture), but I don't understand what kind of contamination it is. Why is this happening? I'm working in a sterile environment.
