Most GCMs do not completely agree in their projections, and no single model can be considered the best (Tebaldi et al. 2005). I did a climate change study over a small area in Southern Alabama, USA and I chose 11 models while they gave me completely different results but altogether provide me with a good understanding of the probable future changes. So, I suggest considering some of them, of course, I have no idea about the available datasets for Europe. 

I think you can find finer temporal resolution but consider the time of calculations and what types of models you want to apply the GCMs in.

The use of multi-model ensembles is preferred over a single GCM or RCM for hydroclimatological impact studies of climate change due to the large uncertainties associated with climate model results.

and another question about the 'Realization number' of models data (I mean the 'N' in rip) for instance, there are 5 realization number data version available for 'maximum near surface daily air temperature' in CanESM2 model (r1i1p1 , r2i1p1, ... and r5i1p1) using just one of these versions (and same one for all the parameters) is the right job?
