The attached paper seems to simulate a similar problem to the one you desire. They study heat transfer properties in the field of the simulation domain. My guess is that if you were to also add a flat plate to the domain of your simulation you should be able to obtain the profiles of properties of the surface of the plate due to heat transfer mechanisms as well. The program they use is called: CHEMKIN PREMIX.
