Hi! I would like to study 5-HT 1B (Serotonin 1B) receptors and conduct a Gi CAMP assay on it. As you know, this is a functional assay that requires whole cells and not membrane preparations.
Do you know a company that sells such whole cells? The one sold by MerckMillipore is only membrane preparation (https://www.merckmillipore.com/INTL/en/product/ChemiSCREEN-Membrane-Preparation-Recombinant-Human-5-HT1B-Serotonin-Receptor,MM_NF-HTS108M) thus not suitable.
If there is none, can you suggest a way for me to harvest/culture whole cells with by 5-HT1b receptor?

Have you tried to contact Dr. Gisela Concepcion's Lab at UP-MSI? I think they've used develop receptors from frogs, as part of their electrophysiology studies of natural products from Terrestrial and Marine Mollusks.
Yeah, the constellation pharmacological assay right? However, I am more interested in human 5-HT1B :( They do transfection too but I think it's gonna cost a lot xD Thank you for the tip, Jonathan!
