Does it exist some special technique for cutting ceramic membranes for Cross-sectional FESEM or SEM images?
Without personal experience I would look into:
FIB cutting (if available) after pre-preparation (depending on material and membrane thickness),
Microtomy after pre-preparation (depending on material and membrane thickness),
Fracture after embedding, maybe after freezing
Cutting (sawing) and polishing after embedding
You con use an Ion Milling System to cut the sample out of the SEM and then insert your cross section into the microscope.
