May I know if anyone has any idea of this failure and amendment? Tried several times but still cannot succeed....
CV scan conditions: 50 mV/s, from 0.43 V vs RHE to -0.25 V vs RHE.
Electrolyte: 0.1 M NaOH(99.99%), Counter electrode: Pt foil. Reference electrode: home-made RHE(tested the potential,no problem)
The results in CV shows even no positive current in this scan potential range...

Are you running only one cycle or multiple cycles? Also i usually run 5 cycles as a de noiser before i run my experiment which runs for 50 cycles. Maybe you can run an empty cycle to get the smooth cycles. Also from my experience in order to get a perfectly closed CV graph you have to run more than 1 cycle at least, since your graph is an open curve I think you are only running one cycle
Kanav Dang Thank you for sharing. Very strange, even after I do a quick 50 circles of scan, it's still the same. Are you using the glass beaker?
