Basically melanotan 2 agonizes MC1R and then it produces a tan, but what else other than a tan does it affect? What about PKA levels and cAMP levels? What about MITF? I know for a fact that high levels of cAMP are associated with multiple illnesses such as Addisons disease. MT-2 stimulates MC1R which in turn stimulates higher cAMP levels. Why do people who use MT-2 don't get Addison's disease?
