In what ways has the pandemic affected your research activities or the manner in which you conduct your research, if at all? Please provide examples, particularly if you were engaged in research activities before the pandemic.

As an empirical economist, I have observed a notable shift in the manner in which meetings are conducted. Previously, in-person meetings were the norm, but the advent of video calls has introduced a new dimension to the way in which professionals interact. While this has its advantages, such as the ability to participate in hybrid conferences, it also presents certain challenges because it is less frequent contact with colleagues. The evolution of collaborative working has been a positive outcome.
