Paul: It helps to find a hobby or interest that helps you relax and refresh. There are a variety of hobbies to choose from but it helps to choose a hobby that interests you and brings you enjoyment.
Also, it helps to find a friend that you can talk to and share your stressful factors with. Talking about your stress can help you think through your problems and come to a logical plan of action. A close friend or co-worker can really help when you feel stressed.
Stress is own creation & we are not controlling with our right way of thinking & brain . It is in this line some years back I have expressed my views which I submit herewith for your kind perusal .
As human beings , we all are living in competitive range for what ever our working environment is it is this competition , we have made a comparative ratios in our working environment with our colleague & in society ,we have started become comparison even in our social circle also this has created a sense of JEALOUSY in our mind .
In this line stress is nothing but our creation with anxiety ,worries, tension, frustration & other related areas & if we remain impartial for ourselves the question of STRESS may not enter in our mind .
It becomes difficult for certain person to change his behavior, mode of thinking & STRESS had enter the root cause in his mind .Under the circumstances it is for such individual to carry out own introspection in an impartial manner & if he desire he can very conveniently avoid the STRESS from his life.
In a very casual practice to avoid STRESS is to make a practice every day in the morning & at night for 15 minutes to sit calmly & quietly & it is very likely that during the short period of sitting the thinking process may also start at the mind because of our early nature .
The said thinking process may be allowed to pass in a normal way & afterwards you should not think of repeating the same in our sitting if we continuous this practice seriously the mind will become automatically calm & quite which may help us to offer us inspiration & even intuition .
Low levels of stress are healthy for our efficiency. Sustained stress is a killer. I manage my stress by addressing the issues that are the source of stress or if out of my control, I simply stop caring about them. In addition, I exercise on a regular basis, and avoid people who emit negative energy.
Some strategies include meditation/prayer, walking, running or other forms of exercise, listening to music, creative visualization, etc.
It is important to realize that a human being has some control over thoughts that lead to negative emotions of anxiety which in turn can manifest as stress. Thus reframing your thoughts and letting go of thoughts that are not rational can also help alleviate stress to some extent.
Appropriate planning is key to abate stress. Planning before task execution can help you forecast possible stressful event and put in measures to reduce it.
Do something very opposite that caused by the stressors. E.g. when stressed at work due to using the computer for too long or too many meetings, I will jog & walk alone in the field to de-stress.
When people says that relaxation, meditation or other mindfulness calm them and relieve there stress. I think that is not the case, we feel stress and burnout cause there are stressors with out any stressors there is no stress. For example if you got a lottery or have a birthday party at night do you feel stress? Probably you may be euphoria. On the other side, if we had divorced, or lot of pay checks and house mortgages. And kidds unable to pay there fees. Does we feel relax after meditation? . These are the stressors they have proper source. To reduce the stress it is necessary to target the stressors to resolve it. Stress will eventually lower it down. For example if you have lot of work than switch your job. If you feel stress after having a car on loan than don't buy it untill you get it easily . These stressors are the sole cause of stress.
Work and just work on what makes you happy, whether it's a professional or personal work at home, and of course you do not even think about what makes your stress.
The experience of writing the worries or the causes of anxiety on the paper, it is a process of transfer from the body outside. If the level of anxiety a person feels is a little or medium, it is useful to stop confronting him and to recognize him as a way of getting rid of him. Try to include a daily meditation time of between 10-15 minutes. Ensure self-care by taking into account the health and comfort of the individual, as well as social support and participation in recreational activities.

Communicate with others: This can be done through social networks, although it is best to have this kind of face-to-face communication or by phone, by trying to tell people around them what they are going through and feel, others can advise and help to face the crisis And to provide it with the moral strength it needs.
sleep well and enough, avoid to try to work too much, have quality time outside work (meaning avoiding to become a workaholic, where nothing than work remains in life)
thank you بان حميد فرحان that's an excellent suggestion.
whenever I am sickly or overworked, it helps to lie in front of the TV. I usually watch German criminal series, but this is surely what everybody needs to find out for himself/herself.
Thank you Mr Eberhard Weber but please stay away from the criminal series and replace it with another in a social series to see the problems of others so that the problems that bother you
In order to reduce stress, I purposefully divert my mind on others. Others would be simply relaxing, watching television, having a small walk and talking to family members.
Make time for yourself If it takes only 10 to 20 minutes to think calmly, it can relieve your chronic stress and increase your ability to tolerate it. Listen to music and relax and try to think positive things or make your mind completely clear of ideas. If you feel muscle tension during the day, take a short break. Breathe deeply and inhale until you reach the count to the number 6, stop for a moment and then release slowly. 2. Exercise regularly Exercise can help you control the feeling of depression and anxiety. If you exercise for only 30 minutes a day, it will benefit your body and mind. 3. Eat healthy Follow a diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains to get more energy and keep the pressure under control. Caffeine may give you a flame of activity but soon its effect will disappear. 4. Resisting commitment to further commitments Instead of looking for ways to engage more activities in your daily routine, look for ways to get some activities out of it. Keep in mind that you can decline new orders so you can devote time to the activities you're already committed to. 5. Always prepare Expect to face difficulties. Whether it's in preparation for a project at work, planning a family meeting, or caring for a sick child, your constant readiness can help you cope with stressful situations. Take extra time to calm your nervous nerves if necessary. 6. Expelling negative thoughts If you find that you are saying to yourself, I can not do that, so get yourself out of this thinking and promise your attention. Instead, tell yourself that will be difficult. But I can do it. Re-interpreting negative thoughts positively can help you deal with situations that cause stress. 7. Keep the spirit of fun Humor is a great way to relieve stress. Laughter leads to the release of endorphins, natural substances that help improve mood and maintain positive behavior. Studies also suggest that laughter may reduce blood pressure, boost the immune system and increase circulation. 8. Request for help If you encounter new stressors that have hampered your ability to adapt or lost some of the methods that used to help you in the past, you may need to look for sources of support. There are a lot of books, websites, and support groups to help people get through difficult times
Exercising regularly will not only help to keep you physically healthy, but also uses up the hormones and nervous energy produced when you are stressed. Exercise will also help to relax the muscles which become tense when you are stressed, and, as exercise increases the blood flow around the body, it can help you to think more clearly.
