When we crave something and cannot be satisfied by it we are in a trap of addiction. The more we search and use it the less we actually get out of it. By our nature we humans are addictive creatures. Whether money or love does not make so much difference but our inside emptiness that is the problem.
There is biblical scripture that says the love of money is the root of all evil.
Interesting money is not the issue it is being controlled by money which is the issue. Money becomes an idol where we bow down but it satisfies us not.
Interestingly when people win lotteries and become independently wealthy they almost always lose it all and are destroyed by the power given them that they are not prepared to administer.
In a Christian sense we are told Love is the primary concern but love has many different levels and the one that fulfills is Love not in physicial and mental level but love of the Highest Power which leads to self sacrifice and not self indulgence.
This creates an apparent paradox that only when we give it all up do we get the highest satisfaction. The reason being when we become about serving the High Spirit He makes us satisfied with His Kingdom that possesses everything we need. This constitutes climbing up a valley of me to the mountain of we where we find our Lord.
Probably both... id you dont have any money, - in this materialistic era- its very unlikely find a stable family lover etc.
Both love and wealth (money) are essential for happiness. A very rich person without friends/family to show him/her love may not be happy. Likewise, a person loved but is lacking money may be unhappy.
Brotherly love, Motherly love ,Erotic love, Self-love, and Love of God fill our inner vacuum of being isolated from the bigger reality and enable us to become part of human community and beyond and to feel the divine forces within us.Love is an expression of energy in the form of positive emotions.The more you give the more it influence your feeling in positive ways.Love is the process of giving and only giving and this attitude is source of happiness.Giving of love and giving of money are sources of happiness and psychological well being.Accumulation of money and being beggar in love are sources of psychopathology.

Thats depending upon situation. in my guess both money and love is very important. When one term is increasing as high there is no value for the other one. Both love and money is like a bullock art. if one bull is leading in wrong way other one is immaterial.

Both are needed in our life---both are giving to different life because you give to more important to Love will make you happy. When you loved someone and you are being loved—that would make you happy. or otherwise you give to Money may give you happiness because this is a necessity to our lives to keep us going.... There are things that money cannot buy—and that is peace of mind

Happiness remains within us & it is also an identity of joy within us . Money & love cannot be placed in one bottle .Money is passing phase & love is a symbol of within which is to remain within us for the time .
This is my personal opinion
We should not compare money with love. Both are poles apart. Comparison is possible with objects or qualities of similar nature. Again it should be quality with quality or object with object. Love is one of the greatest human qualities, whereas, money is a mere materialistic object.
Money or wealth generally brings in measurable comfort, satisfaction or even peace. But also it brings discomfort, dissatisfaction or even can hurt ones in different situations.
But true love always fills our heart with unconditional satisfaction. When we are not satisfied for any reason, it is because there is/was no love.
"Love is the greatest gift that God gave to man ... Miserable one who leaves this world without this gift" - (Georgian writer).
Honestly! hapiness is based on love, love and love, but never on money.
If I put love and money on both sides of a scale, love weighs much more than money. Love fills you like a human being in a way that can never be achieved through money.
for me love is primary and money is secondary,if money is not with me i can borrow but in case of love it is pure cannot be borrowed
