Provide adaptive equipment as needed. This could include a screen reader, enhanced computers, etc. Be patient and go at their pace of learning constantly encouraging the progress that they are making. Positive reinforcement is a good strategy.
It is thru mother we all have seen the day light on this earth . Whether our mother is a back bone she observes our behavior ,attitude , & our nature for which she all the time remains a helping hand for the children .It is the atmosphere of the home where child enters his education of the primary stage . Children while undergoing the progress of his study in which they have also acquired the friendship of their students & initial stage under the silent zone of mind parents have to look after the environment for the children including the study part .
In case of learning difficulties it becomes the responsibility of the class teacher to help & guide the children . Teachers can certainly know the evaluation of the children in the study in the light with that performance in the regular test .
Parents also should see the progressive chart of study of children & they can also certain evaluate & may & help the guide the children
There are several strategies used to teach people with learning difficulties, the most important of which are: skill analysis strategy, sensory linking strategy, role exchange strategy, etc.
People with learning disabilities should be valued and be able to make friends and build relationships. They have the right to choose their friends and have choice and control in relationship situations. It is recognised that some people with learning disabilities will need support to meet others and build relationships.
As a developmental psychologist, I would say the following:
1. Let them paly. To play is the activity children like most.
2. Praise them as much as you can. To praise costs nothing and brings about many benefits.
3. Never punish them. There is amassing evidence that shows that punishment often leads to retaliation. Too often, punishment gives rise to behaviors it wanted to supress. Punishment is immoral from an ethic view point.
4. Reinforce all the positve these children do.
5. While teaching them be an authoritative, not authoritarian or permissive figure.
6. Lead them, in a rgeular schedule, to a doctor, a pyschologist or psychiatrist. There are many schools that have these professional.
7. Be concerned in teaching them not only the three traditional Rs: Reading, Writing, and Reasoning, but also the three more recent Cs: Care, Concern, and Connection
Accept them the way they are. Do not force them to learn anything. Simply take care of them, respect them, help them and reply to their questions in case they ask for help. Do not compare them to one-another or other people. These are principles of healthy education for everyone, no matter how talented people seem. Everybody is a complete world with huge dimensions of possibilities and capabilities.
A good strategy is one that prepares them for a vocation, integrating with society, and equipping them with tools to find solutions when facing challenges in life as they progress into becoming young adults; this requires a sound government support to make it happen
