LLOQ is a term used in bioanalysis and it is equivalent to LOQ. In the 'Bioanalytical Method Validation' (www. fda.gov/downloads/Drugs/Guidances/ucm070107.pdf), the Lower Limit of Quantification (LLOQ) is defined as the lowest standard on the calibration curve. The LLOQ is accepted as LOQ if the following conditions are met:
- the analyte response at the LLOQ is at least 5 times the response of the blank sample
- analyte peak (response) is identifiable, discrete, and reproducible with a precision of 20% and accuracy of 80-120%.
