I am working on polymeric beads with different surface treatements to improve their hydrohilicity and thus biocompatibility. What paramters are important for comparative zeta potential measurements?
Dear Markus Kalmutzki, there are conventional parameters to use, such as size and shape, pH, temperature, concentration. If it is for invivo use, toxicity and stability in biofluids are considered. My Regards
In addition to Abdelkader BOUAZIZ 's very helpful answer, I would include the isoelectric point and also ensure that zeta potential measurements are done at ionic strengths similar to the biological environment of concern (e.g., physiological fluid).
