I got a thin band and a thick band i guess it would be the genomic DNA and the 260/280 ratio is 3.
Bands in genomic DNA does not mean anything special. Primarily it would just represent the size of different DNA fragment in the extract.
That is unusual for me. normally gDNA got only single band. for RNA you will come up with two nice bands. Also I assume 260/230 value is too high. its come around 2 to 2.2.
What part of plant you used for DNA extraction?
leaf
It may you have a big genomic DNA and become cutting in to two band
How did you isolate your DNA? What was the process?
Is there any procedure for the quantitative analysis of standard menthol (drug) in methanol using a UV vis spectrophotometer? Thanks in advance.
