Hi!

I'm using Gibco DMEM GlutaMAX + 10% FBS + P/S and till now I hadn't had any problems with cells. (For other cells I use Sigma medium and like above, no problems)

Usually cytotoxicity assays I do without FBS in medium (it prevents potencial drug - protein effect).

KGM gold medium with bullet kit (Lonza) for primary adult epidermal keratinocytes seems to work the best for my experiments. The bullet kit contains non-serum derived growth factors and antibiotics. It does not contain any serum elements, which makes it easier to handle for blots and drug treatments.
