Hi, I am looking to estimate a willingness to pay for a choice model, but for the given alternatives compared to a base rather than for the product attributes variables. I have run a mixed logit model and have coefficients for the attribute variables followed by coefficients for case-specific variables with each different option.

Hi Louie, if I understand you correctly your DCE is a "labelled" DCE, meaning that each alternative by itself is representing a feature of the choice other than the attributes. I think what you are looking for the the "Alternative Specific Constant (ASC)". There are definitely helpful resources out there, such as the book mentioned by María which describe how to include an ASC in your model.
