Power generation process from nuclear and fossil fuel fired thermal sources heats environment with their rejected waste heat that constitute about 60% of the causes of global heating. But our scientists and UNFCCC are not considering these major sources of global heating and they have no action plan with them to fight it. They have plan to phase out thermal power to decarbonize environment but not for rejected waste heat they are emitting into environment.

The root of the problem is that thermal radiation from and through gases is poorly understood. The fact that CO2 is infra red active has been translated into it is the root cause of AGW, when water vapour is far more active and much higher partial pressure. The contribution of CO2 to the emissivity of the atmosphere was massively overestimated by Arrhenius in the 19th Century and remains vastly over-estimated. The physics of the atmosphere are poorly understood: it varies in temperature from about 15 C at ground level to -60C at 10km agl, and the pressure varies similarly, making the calculations even more difficult. I believe that Trump has understood the poor basis of science that is underwriting a massive worldwide waste of resources, but that the establishment (politicos) cannot admit that the IPCC was a flawed UN operation that provided a biased view.
Then there is the fact that heat from the atmosphere cannot travel to the ground without violating the Second Law of Thermodynamics, which says that heat cannot flow from a cool body to a hotter body. This has also been ignored as so few people understand it.
