The aim of the Scientific Projects is to give students training in undertaking a major research-type project which can be in any area of physics, either theoretical or experimental. The project should normally be completed in the first semester, although in unusual circumstances, it may be finished in the second semester. Students normally work in pairs, in close collaboration with a member of staff. By undertaking a project students should develop skills which are necessary for experimental or theoretical research (such as initiative, decision making, determining priorities, searching and learning relevant material from literature, ability to collaborate and to report results).

I dream to have a project which solves the challenging real world problems, i.e., Food security, Poverty, Burgeoning global population, Climate change etc.

If I could realize free visa-free travel all around the world and that these trips are all available. Science without borders, face to face, not only on via internet! I know it sounds a communistic and that does not seem feasible! That is a project that I have a dream about!

I also dreamed to solve 3 notorious problems in Physical Chemistry, one formulated by Bukhingham in 1907, another is formulated by Rehbinder in 1928, the 3rd one was formulated by Derjaguin in 1947. I failed to solve them, and so failed other Scientists in my field, during my years of full employment from 1962 until 2009, the year of my retirement. Then, I moved from Canada to HOLY LAND. Solutions started to come to me as Visions, without any mental stress on me. Thus, I can't claim that I solved these problems, even being the first author of papers, where solutions are published. But, sure, Legally I can't indicate the UPPER ONE as the principle author, and HE does not need these credits. But I have rights to inform my RG peers, that miracles are possible.

I attach all 3 papers, in the case any one cares to look. All of them are published after I hit age 70, the fresh one, at 75, not exactly the prime age.

I DREAM TO FIND A CHEAP EFFICIENT WAY FOR SEAWATER DESALINATION. AND SOLVE SCIENTIFIC PROBLEMS TO REGISTER MY NAME WITH THE GREATEST SCIENTISTS. FOR WHAT PROPHET MOHAMMAD SAYS: "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."

I dream to do a project on how to raise the perception of elite people in our society of the new concept of physical education as it is related to exercise science.

For the current time, I would like to have a project that could unify all data recovery methods under a common theoretical approach plus the software development of it.

Then we should be able to test if we have a theory under our observations or we are just playing the game of regressions...

I agree with Ljubomir, I expect the date when researchers and  scientists from all countries and cultures will become worldwide citizens. Science with no frontier and with much more cooperation and sharing; Science for all who are able for it.

@Aiman. Ions in sea water are Hydrated, their energy is low. In order to dehydrate all ions the energy must be spent, so, no low cost method exist. Only using wind and sea waves energy + Solar Energy, we can spent this low cost sustanable energy for desalination. That would make sence. 

I wish to work on a (Global Management) Project where the whole world would live in peace.

My other dream work can never be realized, as STALIN PRIZE in Chemistry, First Class, was stopped issuing in 1954. Stalin funded Gold Medals and Money, 200,000 old rubles, for the prize personally. He donated all his salary and the honorarium for his books, published in 100 countries to the prize fund. Nothing was taken from the State Treasure. I don't claim that I deserve this prize, I just feel sorry that this possibility no longer exist.  The photo of the Medal is attached. 

Sure, Ljubomir knows what this medal meant in the Socialist camp. STALIN Prize of First Class was equivalent to Nobel Prize money wise. But, best to my knowlege, only USSR citizens were eligible for STALIN Prize. 

As an example of scale, Stalin Prize of First Class in Physics, 1947, was granted to Professor Jacob Frenkel for his immortal book "Kinetic Theory of Liquids." The book is still read after 66 years, the book is still on the top of the subject today.

Dear Aiman, in the case you get mixure of 2H2 and O2, burn mixture in Air, the product is fresh water. No catalist is required. So, this is the reaction:

2H2 + O2 = 2H2O + heat

You just need Chemical Apparatus, burner, capable to burn the mixture, cool the steam, collect water. Come with the design of this apparatus, I can help in the case you ask me.
