In some reference papers they used 96 well ultra low attachment microplate for ATP based chemosensitivity assay. Can I use cell culture treated and hydrophilic surface 96 well plate?
if the reaction in your assay emits luminescence, as is the case with the Cell Titer Glo assay for example, you should use 96-well plates with white walls.
black walls are best used for fluorescence/ fluorogenic assays.
the plates don't need to be ultra low attachment, unless you usually use low attachment plates for your cell line. I use tissue culture-treated 96-well plates with white walls and i have gotten good results.
