When we look at the history of medicine, it is seen that specializations have increased rapidly. The process of specialization continues with the increase of knowledge. A remarkable point is the rapid development of technology in parallel with its increasing knowledge. Medicine has become almost dependent on the developing technology. One of the opinions about this situation is that advances in technology adversely affect physician-patient communication.
What is your opinion on the effects of rapidly developing technology on physician-patient communication in health services?
Application is tediously slow due to perspectives of both profession and patient.
Developing of technology is seen in every field today so despite of some negative effects I believe in that it is generally good for physician-patient relation. For example; the physician can reach all details about the patient and the history of his/her problems or treatments via just one click on technological systems..
