I ran 10ul of a 50ul PCR reaction on a 1% agarose gel in fresh TAE, and I observed this curved yellow-ish band underneath my intended product. The highest band is ~1700bp which is the size of my target.

This is the second time repeating the PCR reaction and I saw the exact same bands. I tried a gel extraction on my first attempt but the yield was very low so I'd prefer if I could digest the PCR product directly, as I usually do.
