(I used a sandwich, Elisa, for detection the concentration of afamin protein, the unit is (ng/ml) but the expected result was seen in (mg/L) in some papers, while I converted the unit of concentration in to (mg/L), and the result was incompatible with an expected concentration in the human range of afamin. Mean the results very low in (mg/L) unit. Any explanation…)

As you said, Some papers shown the value in mg/l but, ng/ml (nanograms / milliliter) is the actual unit.

Generally we use ng/ml but varies according to kit manufacturers
