What is the relationship between introversion/extroversion and birth order?

while some studies suggest firstborns may be more extraverted, especially in terms of dominance, the overall evidence is inconclusive. Birth order does not appear to have a strong or consistent effect on broad personality traits like extraversion and introversion. More research is needed to clarify the relationship, if any, between birth order and these personality dimensions.
