I am designing high power CW fiber laser, the temperature of the CPS(cladding pump striped)is high,i have tried some methods but failed,it will be 353.5K for stripping 80w pumping laser, anyone has good suggestions or papers, please tell me,thank you!
There are a lot of parameters to take into account when designing a cladding power stripper. Can you be a bit more specific about your system? For instance, how much input pump power do you have? Is the 80 total input power or is it the amount you need to strip? Also, do you have an estimate of the angular power distribution at the entrance of your CPS (i.e. NA at 13.5% and 5%)? Finally, where do you measure the temperature of your CPS? Is there any way to estimate the fiber temperature from this measurement?
For starters, you can have a look at the attached papers.

strip and recoat section of fiber with high NA acrylic or strip and dip stripped portion in Glycerin bath or if active fiber's core and NA closely matched with commercially available telecom fibers such as SMF-28, you may simply splice a section of such fiber to strip pump without significant losses to signal.
