We really need to integrate a variety of traditional and new teaching methods to enhance our teaching strategies, such as but not limited to face to face interactive discussions, blended learning, flipped classrooms, etc.

Ancient teacher the entire system of education was totally different & there where no scientific facilities including electronic media besides the standard of book were also not easily available in this line ancient teachers place all the knee interest by finding out all the require information for their knowledge & guideline & in this line their contribution should not be underestimated as previous learners in any areas have their own contribution & obviously the credit should go to ancient teacher.
Modern teachers are fortunate to have with them all the amenities with the scientific & technological information which help them to carry out their areas of education efficient& effectively .
The prevailing issues in teaching are of different nature when we compare them in developing and developed countries.Developing countries suffer from lack of basic infra structure , quality training facilities, minimum budget allocation for education at the national level, sub standard and old curriculum, poor salary structure, over burden teachers, lack of teachers participation in policy making,rifts among teachers in educational institution,leg pulling, issues with heads of educational institutions,involvement of teachers and heads of educational institutors in facilitating cheating in order to show their performance for promotion and other monetary benefits.This list is endless and this is the status quo in teaching practices as for as developing countries are concerned.

Endowment chair for an university professor is also carries highest international repute .
It is a fact that the role of the teacher is changing to include many roles:
1- a mentor
2- a facilitator
3- a guider
4- a supervisor
5- a friend
and many other roles in stead od maintaining to be the sage on the stage.
There is no replacement of his/her role despite the great flow of information especially in early stages of learnini.
