What is the exact time for day and night Land Surface Temperature of MOD16A2 and MYD16A2. ?

Terra crosses the equator at 10.30AM and Aqua croses the equator at 1.30PM

I have been using the MOD16A2 and MYD16A2 to asses the temperature difference between day and night. I don't know the what is exact time for day and night has been taken as standard. Offcourse 1.30PM at equator does not show a night time.
