So I planned this ELISA to do, unfortunately I coated plates and for some reason I am not able to continue with the experiment as planned. So basically, instead of coating overnight at 4 degrees as recommended, another 24 hours has been added to coating time. Can I still proceed with these plates or I need to from afresh?

Our experience with stable antibodies is that a prolonged coating time does not affect the assayat 4C . So if your coating protein is stable at +4C I don not expect any problems. +

As there is no golden rule, only the final result will tell you (comparative analysis with the usual protocol).
You should not have problems if the plates were conserved at 24h. However, the the risk of contamination and lost of coating antigens is greater. You should incorporate a positive control in each plate to check that the antigen remains intact
