You can check weight but not size by normal methods.
UV is the easiest and economical method. A260 and A260/280 would give you meaningful concentration of total RNA.
Agilent-bioanalyzer or Biorad - Experion would be the best digital instruments, though expensive
If you want to be certain about the integrity of the RNA and also to know the size distribution of the RNA, the best way is to do the Agilent BioAnalyzer kit. Use the RNA 6000 nano kit and set the program to analyze total RNA. From the BioAnalyzer report - tick "Advanced" and tick "perform smear analysis". From this reading you can see the distribution and length (number of nucleotides) of Your RNA. Of course, you will also get the concentration and RIN-value as well.
If you have high sample throughput, the Shimadzu MultiNA might be a better alternative to the BioAnalyser.
