i need to do element birth and death analysis of steel lattice tower. i modeled it using B31 beam elements in abaqus. which hardening and damage property should be applied for steel?

It depends on which kind of steel that you want to study. You can find in the literature identified hardening laws parameters for different kinds of steel. The same for damage.
