Which different from sponges and hydrogels is the form of water molecules. The water in the sponge is free water, which can flow freely and has the fluidity of liquid. It will flow out when gently squeezed. The water in the hydrogel is bound in the gel network, which is similar to a solid. It will not be free and has no fluidity of liquid. It will not flow out when gently squeezed.
