I have been working with CFRP composites with different fiber orientations. Since they are anisotropic the material properties vary based on the fiber directions. I have been able to figure out a mathematical model that exhibits the relationship between fiber orientation and thermal conductivity. However, even after going through an extensive literature review, I have not been able to find any mathematical model that establishes a relationship between the specific heat capacity of a composite depending on the fiber orientation angle. Without going through experimental procedures to determine the heat capacity, is there any mathematical model available that proposes a relationship between the aforementioned two parameters? Your suggestions will be duly appreciated. Thank You.
