What is the best way to quantify ECM production by cells invitro/ cell culture settings?

I have to differenitate stem cells into preadipocyte and further into mature adipocyte. We want to quantify ECM produced by adipocytes. Not sure if I should use Immunoflurence or there is any other better method of achieving this goal?
