I'm getting into the flow cytometry field. I have lab experience and basic FC skills but I completely lack the theoretical background and a systematic approach to FC experiments. I'm searching for a book for beginners that provides not only theory and applications but also how to troubleshoot experiments or which problems a researcher may have when acquiring or analyzing data.
Does anybody have a book in mind that satisfies these needs?

I'm with Sander on this one, the other books could be good as well, but Shapiro is so entertaining to read, and gives an insight into the genesis of flow. Really good book.
