I want to detect several viruses using Real-Time PCR simultaneously. What is the best probes and dyes attached to them?
Hi Ehsan,
The standard probes are from TaqMan (Thermo), but most good oligo providers can make them for you. As for the dyes, we routinely use FAM, JOE, ROX and Cy5 for both two-step (DNA viruses) and one-step (RNA viruses).
Steve Hawkins
Thanks for your help
