Hi everyone.

I have to assess protein expression in my adult satellite muscle cells by WB. I'd prefer not to use the conventional beta-actin or alpha-tubulin, nor GAPDH. I saw that 18S mRNA was stable upon treatments, therefore I'd rather go for a ribosomal protein (preferably belonging to 40S subunit) as a loading control. Unfortunately, I see that most ribosomal proteins are not used as stable housekeeping proteins in WB, and those who are used, are expressed at low levels in skeletal muscles. Can anyone help me, please?

Thanks a lot in advance

Stefano
