I am looking to purchase a portable device that has the capability to measure heart rate variability along with brain stem evoked potentials. The device output should be compatible with commonly available HRV analysis softwares (e.g Kubios).
To monitor heart rate variability in human patients, you could try PocketECG, which is marketed as "...the most technologically advanced remote arrhythmia monitoring system available today.". But to measure HRV along brain stem evoked potentials - no idea.
You will likely need to look at comprehensive biofeedback/neurofeedback equipment because these can simultaneously record ECG and EEG, and may allow external input time-stamping. As far as I know there aren't many options in the market, but here are a few you could look at:
Mind Media's Nexus 10: https://www.mindmedia.com/products/nexus-10-mkii/
Thought Technology's ProComp Infiniti: http://thoughttechnology.com/index.php/hardware/procomp-infiniti-177.html
Vilistus: http://www.vilistus.com/packages.shtml
There is some good advice on the Association of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback pages, including systems for second hand sale: https://www.aapb.org/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageid=3326
I use the Nexus 10, primarily for HRV biofeedback, the system works well although the software is not as refined as the hardware. I would recommend using this equipment for your purposes but cannot rank it against the other systems which I have not used. I hope this information helps.
