Is 100 mm dish means diameter is 100 mm? If so, surface area of circle 3.14 *50^2 not equal 55 cm^2
I need to know as I need to know how much RIPA lysis buffer to add to well of six well plate. Protocol mentions that 0.6 ml to 100 dish and not mention well.

Hello, yes 100 mm should be 100mm in diameter. For a 6well plate 0.5 mL of RIPA buffer is fine.
