Thank you for the answer. But I need the procedure of calculation of transfer factor of heavy metals from dissolved phase to sediment and also most importantly I need the process of calculation of concentration factor of heavy metals in sediment. I am waiting for reply from all. If possible, attach scientific papers and articles on this topic.
One of the problems of food security is made up of the soil contamination by metals, bioavailability and transfer of trace elements in the system ground-plant
To assess the soil-plant transfer of elements using the absorption coefficient of biological (BAC, Biological Absorption Coefficient), defined as (Chojnacka, 2005).
To assess the transfer of items within the plant (passage from the roots to pertia aerial) is used instead of translocation factor (TF, Translocation Factor) (Singh et al., 2010, Mendez and Maier, 2008; Yoon et al. , 2006).
The cultivation of maize, in particular, might lead to the side benefit of removing a certain amount of Cr from the ground (phytoextraction), since this element reaches concentrations in the stem and leaves fairly high compared to normal and the corn has high biomass; addition, this probably would not prevent its use, for example, as animal feed, since the levels in the aerial parts of the plant do not appear to be so high as to be detrimental to the cattle, for which Cr (III) is an essential element.
