The identification of Culicidae by morphological characters takes into account very small structures. Which increase is the ideal to do identification of Culicidae? Does anyone have any suggestion of equipment with a good cost benefit?
I just bought a leica. It works great, and it is a bit cheaper than Nikon or Olympus, while still being good quality. I would think that at least 60x would be sufficient for your needs.
I use very old Wild M5 scopes. They go to 50 X but a 2 X objective and 20 X occulars are available. All found on Ebay. Spectacular optics for lower price.
