I want to understand more on the hemocompatibility tests for hydrogels especially those that are made for wound dressings. I also want to know if they should be more attractive to clotting factors such as platelet, fibrinogen, etc. or not.
The best answer for hemocompatibility requirements is to be found in the ANSI Standard by ISO and FDA -that has also been adopted by ISO and FDA.
Given the hemostatic and non-hemostatic functions of platelets, I think attracting them to the dressing would be an important positive
