what happen to protein expression when we reduce the temperature and what happen when we introduce the heat shock stages to improves the solubility?
The rate of protein synthesis will be reduced, and thus proteins will not form inclusion bodies.
Heat shock proteins act as chaperones to help refold incorrectly folded proteins and to aid newly synthesized proteins to fold correctly. Heat shock proteins can be induced by heat shock, or they can be co-expressed with the protein of interest.

I had a crystal hit in a well with 0.1M HEPEs pH 7.5, 10%(w/v) PEG 4000, and 20%(w/v) isopropanol. Why is isopropanol in w/v here if it's just solvent? How do I recreate this well condition?
