In eukaryotes, mRNA processing bodies or p-bodies control the mRNA turnover by degradation. But it has been shown that some mRNAs are stored and not degraded inside the p-bodies. Later these mRNAs are released and translated into proteins. I would like to know the followings;

1. How are these mRNAs localized into the p-bodies from ER (I'm only interested in ER mediated translation)? 2. What decides whether to degrade or to store and release later, once the mRNAs are inside the p-bodies?
