So I am running a sequence analyzing One single standards mixture in positive mode. The mixture is in 0.1% formic acid-containing 95% water/5% acetonitrile and the BGE is 10% acetic acid. Capillary in use is a bare fused silica capilalry (75cm in length; 50 uM inner diameter). Sheath liquid is 50% IPA/50% H2O with 0.2% acetic acid.
But somehow, I observed that the peak areas of all tested compounds slowly went down with every run, 14 runs so far and the trend is still here. And the total decrease of peak areas from first run to the fourteenth run is around 20% on average.
Does anyone have any ideas where I should check with the system to solve this problem? Many thanks!
