I have modeled a bridge column using the CDP model available in ABAQUS. The model consists of concrete elements as solid elements (C3D8R) and reinforcements as truss elements (T3D). I'm trying to validate my simulation with the experimental hysteresis curve but I got higher values for load in my simulation results as compared to those obtained in the experiment for the initial few cycles while the rest of the other cycles show fair agreement. The load is imposed as displacement controlled. I have attached a file below, please kindly find it. Any help would be highly appreciated.

There seems some transition happening from isotropic to kinematic hardening, please check you material model again if both material properties are consistent.
Akash Bhuwal Thanks for the reply. I have used the isotropic hardening model in both cases. But I haven't used the kinematic hardening model, could you please explain a bit more?
