I have packed some columns using Chloroform and Cyclohexanol (90:10) slurry and 50:50 IsoPropanol: Methanol as packing material but when I'm testing them they don't required tailing factor.
Wavelenght: 210 and 254
HPLC: Shimadzu
Test Mix: 5 Compounds
What else could be done to get desired tailing factor?
I have already used different concentration of packing and slurry solvent.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I packed C18 and C8 which gave me perfect tailing factor, but when I'm packing C4, C1, Diol and Ph with same recipe, I'm not at all getting the tailing factor which must come 2l/p.
I have packed them on different pressure (3500Psi, 4000Psi, 4500 Psi and 5000 psi) as well. I'm very much confused with the packing where I'm lacking.
When I'm packing 5um particle they give the separation very well but I need to pack 10um.
Any suggestion?
Try 70:30 IPA:heptane for Ph and C4. I also suggest packing under the highest pressure your equipment will allow as Farooq suggested.
