Hello, I have question about my research work, I've get some unexpected results in my thesis work. if you get me some advice about it. I'm really appreciate.

I detected class 1 integron in some isolates of S.aureus by PCR assay, but these isolates haven't any expected antimicrobial resistance phenotype against many antibiotic disks by disk diffusion agar method in according to CLSI. I read a lot of papers about their results, almost the all of them find a meaning connection between the presence of this integron and antibiotic resistance.. I think, it's really difficult to compare my result with the other people.  I don't know what do I suppose to do? please help me. Thanks
